Did you fall for the April Fool’s joke sent by Flight Centre? Sorry, we thought they’d put so much effort into this elaborate story we just had to run it!

Birthday suits at the ready, Flight Centre is taking to the skies this year to commemorate 40 years in business – but this isn’t any ordinary celebration.

The iconic Australian brand is calling for 40 daring volunteers to join them in baring all and hopping on board for a once in a lifetime round the world trip- completely starkers!*

Departing from the UK and stopping off in a series of bucket list destinations including South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, this trip will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most naked passengers on a commercial round-the-world flight.

The competition is open to customers worldwide, and the trip will be completely free of charge for the forty lucky applicants, the only rule being they have to be entirely naked for the flight – but don’t worry, you can leave your hat on!

Those interested in fastening their seatbelts (carefully), partying sky-high and helping get (bare) bums on seats for this revolutionary adventure can head on over to Flight Centre’s website and fill out an application form explaining exactly why they are interested in stripping off and taking off.

All applicants will receive a £250 voucher per booking for their time, which can be redeemed against a holiday of £2,500 or more.**

Lucy Clifton, Director of Sales for Flight Centre UK said: “It’s not every day you turn 40, and we wanted to make this a celebration to remember. After two years of restrictions, rules, checks, and tests, we want to strip down to the bare bones of travel, bringing back the pure freedom and hedonism the world can bring, and embracing the very best Flight Centre has to offer: excitement, adventure, everlasting memories.”

Applications open from 1 April 2022 at 6am, closing at midnight on 1 April. Travel Gossip suggests you check the date before booking.
