Online travel company Club Voyages has re-positioned to target the luxury tailormade market and is looking for more homeworkers to join the company.

Club Voyages was launched last year, originally capitalising on the knowledge of cruising that its founder and Managing Director Sam Ballard gained during his former career as a trade journalist for the sector, and operated as a cruise-focused online travel agent.

After identifying a trend among Club Voyages customers for personalised service and increased demand for bespoke travel experiences, Sam has repositioned Club Voyages to target high-spending travellers seeking holidays that are precisely curated to their specific needs and interests, fulfilled through a growing team of experienced homeworking luxury travel agents.

It currently has 12 homeworkers and aims to double that number in the next year, by appointing people with experience in luxury travel.

The company also has access to an ATOL, through its membership of Hays Independence Group, and is able to create even more tailored holidays for its clients.

The first of these ‘Journeys’ products, an eight-day river cruise through France’s Rhone Valley for travel in June 2024, is already on sale, with other packages to the United States, India and Mexico being planned.

Homeworkers won’t have to pay joining fees and will get 50% commission upfront.

Sam said: “Like our customers and the holidays they want to take, we’re putting quality ahead of quantity when it comes to the agents we work with.

“Although our aim is to double the number of Club Voyages agents, our standards will be unapologetically high and they must be able to show an entrepreneurial approach to how they have built and maintained their client base.”
