Etihad Airways is to introduce double-daily flights on its Manchester service at the end of this year.
Seven more flights a week will operate between Abu Dhabi and Manchester from December 2024, as part of the airline’s expansion plans for 2025.
Paris will also get seven more flights, bringing a total of 14 a week from January 2025. Dublin will get three additional Etihad services from July 2025, to a total of 10 per week.
By July 2025, Etihad will fly twice a day to Barcelona, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Rome and Zurich, as well as to Manchester and Paris.
The airline says the new flights have been timed for more convenient morning and evening departures and arrivals.
Further afield, Etihad will offer daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Bali for the summer season, and increase the number of weekly flights to Sydney to 10.
