Emirates is ‘strongly advising’ customers to arrive at Dubai International Airport three hours before their flights this summer.
The airline also says passengers should pass through immigration 90 minutes before departure and reach their boarding gate one hour before departure.
Emirates is expecting to carry more than 2.6 million customers from Dubai airport over the next month.
The busiest days are likely to be Saturday 15 June due to the Eid Al Adha Muslim holiday, and Saturday 6 July when many families will set off on summer holidays.
In a release, the airline said: “Emirates customers need to plan for extra traffic on the roads approaching the airport, more people at the airport going through immigration, and the time it may take to travel between concourses and reach boarding gates.”
