Emirates will relaunch flights between Edinburgh and Dubai on 4 November, using one of its brand new Airbus A350-900s.
The airline has confirmed that the service, which was suspended in 2020, will be one of nine new routes operated by its new aircraft.
Other new routes include Lyon and Bologna, both starting on 1 December. Emirates said more routes will be announced later.
The A350-900 offers business class, premium economy and economy seating, but no first class.
The Edinburgh service will operate in addition to Emirates’ flights to Dubai from Glasgow.
