EasyJet has added a Gatwick-Newquay route for summer 2021 as part of its focus on providing more direct domestic connectivity.

Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 June until 30 October.

Return fares start from £54 and passengers are covered by easyJet’s protection promise, which includes a refund guarantee.

Newquay Airport Managing Director Pete Downs said locals ‘have long told us they want to see more great value flights to London’.

EasyJet UK country manager Ali Gayward said: “This is an exciting route for customers wishing to visit Cornwall.

“We continue to focus on providing more direct domestic connectivity for customers and will be ready to ramp up our flights to ensure we can take our customers away to see friends and family or on long-awaited holiday breaks.

“Our Protection Promise means that customers can book with confidence knowing that if they are unable to travel or their plans change so can their flights or holiday. We will offer customers refunds if they are impacted by a travel ban, even if their flight is not cancelled, giving consumers both the confidence to book and travel.”
