EasyJet has thanked passengers for their generosity in donating to help victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria and says it will extend the duration of its onboard collection.
The airline tweeted to say customers have raised over £300,000 and three weeks and it’s now extended the fundraiser into March.
Initially, the in-flight collection was due to run for two weeks from 11 February.
All money is going to UNICEF’s emergency appeal.
EasyJet said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to our passengers who’ve donated.”
