EasyJet holidays made a pre-tax profit of over £35 million in its first full year of trading.
The figure was revealed in a trading update for easyJet plc covering the year ended 30 September 2022,
EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren said: “EasyJet achieved a record bounce back this summer with Q4 operating profit expected to be between £525m and £545m and passenger numbers almost doubling versus last summer to 24 million with a load factor of 92%, as demand… remains strong.
“Our step change in ancillary revenue has continued to deliver, alongside easyJet holidays making a profitable contribution in its first full year of operations.
“This was alongside our operational performance being ahead of the same period in 2019 while customer satisfaction indicators also exceeded pre-pandemic levels over the peak summer.”
