EasyJet holidays has launched its winter 2022 programme, with packages on sale to 20 destinations for travel until March 2023.

It includes a range of city breaks in Iceland, Paris, Amsterdam, Krakow and Rome, with beach holidays available in Sharm el Sheikh, Madeira (pictured above), Cyprus and the Canary Islands.

Prices for seven night packages start from £360 per person with three night city breaks available from £233.

The operator said all holidays offer flexible durations in a move that reflects growing demand for four night breaks.

EasyJet holidays Commercial Director Paul Bixby said: “We all love having something exciting to look forward to which is why we’ve launched our winter 2022 holidays to over 20 destinations, including some of our favourite holiday hotspots, for our customers to book a winter getaway nice and early through their trusted travel agent.

“We’ve got a wide range of holidays to suit every style and budget, whether it’s a chilled out week on a beach or city sightseeing trip, so we’re really excited by this launch and are looking forward to working with our travel agent partners to provide fantastic holiday experiences to beat the winter blues next year.”

Meanwhile, in a move to reflect rising demand across Europe, easyJet will add five aircraft to its European bases next year; two in Malaga, two in Palma de Mallorca and one in Faro.

EasyJet Chief Executive Johan Lundgren said: “The decision to add five aircraft to these bases is testament to the important role they play in our network now and in the post-pandemic recovery.

“They have provided us with the additional flexibility to capture the most demand on these popular routes. We can now continue growing our presence in these key destinations from next May, demonstrating our confidence in the continued recovery of leisure and beach travel next summer.”

Lundgren said opportunities will emerge as legacy airlines ‘retrench’.

“We are ready and able to grab them with both hands,” he said. “We are ideally positioned to take advantage of these strategic growth opportunities with customers choosing us for our trusted brand, unrivalled network and low fares.”
