EasyJet has announced a new winter route between Bournemouth and Lyon, starting in January 2024.

Flights will operate once a week, starting on 13 January 2024 until 24 February, covering the ski season and the half-term break.

Flights are on sale today (21 September) starting from £23.99 per person one-way.

Lyon airport is close to ski resorts including Tignes, Val d’Isère, Alpe d’Huez, Les 2 Alpes, Val Thorens and La Plagne.

Country Manager Ali Gayward  said: “We are really pleased to be announcing a second winter route from Bournemouth to Lyon today, providing more choice for our customers in the south who are looking to visit the Alps region whether that’s for skiing and other winter sports, or a city break to enjoy Lyon’s impressive architecture, cuisine and history.”
