TUI’s aircraft will be taking off around 95% full over the Easter holidays, when it will take more than half a million customers overseas.
The operator said traffic was expected to be ‘broadly in line with pre-pandemic levels’.
Customers are mainly travelling to destinations around the Mediterranean, including Turkey, the Balearics, mainland Spain and Egypt, as well as the Canaries.
Group CEO Sebastian Ebel said: “Booking momentum remains encouraging, and the travel trends and strong demand for the Easter holidays are a healthy signal for the upcoming summer.
“Based on trends to date and as we have said in March, we continue to anticipate capacity to be close to pre-pandemic levels. We expect a good Summer 2023.”
