Discovery TV is to make a documentary about bogus travel agent Lyne Barlow – and is calling on Travel Gossip readers for help.

Producers are interested in hearing from people in the trade who knew Barlow, or may have been affected by her massive scam, and are willing to talk about their experience on camera.

The show is part of a six-part series about large-scale fraudsters, which is due to air next year.

Barlow, 39, of Stanley, County Durham, pleaded guilty to stealing £500,000 from one person, 10 counts of fraud and a money laundering charge totalling £1,688,220, when she appeared at Durham Crown Court earlier this week. She is due to be sentenced in December.

In the course of the police investigation hundreds of victims came forward to make allegations about her and Durham Constabulary said the case was one of the biggest fraud cases it has dealt with.
