Diving specialist Blue 02 Ltd has ceased trading.
The company, based in Plymouth, operated under the names Blue O2, Blue O Two, blue o two and blueotwo, and website www.blueotwo.com.
The company specialised in liveaboard and resort-based scuba diving holidays, including reefs and wrecks in the Red Sea, the Galapagos Islands and the Maldives, where it operated two fleet vessels.
The CAA said Blue 02 Ltd operated under ATOL number 6589.
The company website said; “Creating inspirational experiences is what we’re all about and we work with the best people in the industry to make this happen.”
The CAA said clients currently overseas are not affected, but clients with bookings that don’t include a flight element are not covered by the ATOL scheme.
“However it is our understanding that your booking will not be affected unless you have received notification to the contrary from the company’s administrators at [email protected],” the CAA said.
