Disney Cruise Line has announced it has ordered four more ships, in addition to the four already being built.

The four new ships, announced at an event for fans on Saturday evening, will arrive between 2027 and 2031.

Disney currently has a fleet of five ships, so with the four already on order and the four new ships announced at the weekend, it will have a total of 13.

Disney didn’t disclose which shipyard will build the four additional new ships.

Of those already being built, Disney Treasure is due to enter service in December, Disney Destiny will be delivered late next year, as will Disney Adventure, which will debut in Singapore. Oriental Land Co, which owns and operates Disney parks in Tokyo ordered a Wish-class ship for Japan, to be delivered in late 2028.
