Blue Bay Travel has appointed Darren Cummins as Product Manager.

He will be responsible for hotels in the Spanish Caribbean and the EU, working closely with the senior team, especially Greg Armstrong and Nicky Streeter, said Blue Bay.

Previously Director of Sales for Millennium Hotels & Resort, he has worked for Flight Centre, China Southern Airlines and AM Resorts, but during the pandemic he moved to ‘logistics and warehousing’.

Based in the south of England, he will work remotely and travel to Blue Bay’s Stoke-on-Trent HQ when required.

He said: “After a strange few years for travel professionals, I am massively excited to be back in the fold, post-COVID, and to be joining the team at Blue Bay Travel.

“I have worked closely with the Blue Bay Product team as a supplier and share the same passion for delivering the highest possible service to customers and suppliers alike.

“I hope to be able to draw on my previous experience to hit the ground running for Blue Bay and look forward to learning from the talented team around me to expand my knowledge and skill base.’’
