Dnata Travel Group has appointed Dale Marriott as Trade Partnership Support Manager for the Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys brands, with responsibility for onboarding new agents and driving new business opportunities.
He will start his new role on 27 March.
Dale brings over a decade of trade and industry experience to the B2B team, during which time he held a variety of sales and business development roles with Jet2 Holidays and Midcounties Cooperative, as well as setting up and running his own travel agency – The Travel Hive – based in Manchester.
He will be office based in Leyland and report to dnata Travel Group B2B’s Head of Trade Support Kym Coulbeck, and work alongside his fellow Trade Partnership Support Manager, Leigh Lavery.
Dnata Travel Group B2B Trade Partnerships Director Karen Fletcher said: “It’s fantastic to welcome Dale to our team.
“He brings a wealth of independent agent experience and knowledge gained during his career to date, and – having run his own agency – understands exactly what it is that agents need from us.”
Dale said: “I am so excited to be given this opportunity to join the amazing B2B team at dnata Travel Group.
“I have had a little break from the travel industry over the past year, but I am ready and excited to be getting back to the sector that I love, and which runs through my veins.
“I’ve worked with and admired Gold Medal and its sister brands since starting my travel agency career back in 2008, and I can’t wait to start promoting them to everyone in my travel family with whom I’ve worked for so many years.”
