The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office says it no longer advises against all but essential travel to Cyprus, based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks.
However, the UK entered Cyprus’ red category on 8 July.
British holidaymakers must show proof of a negative PCR test on entering Cyprus, then take another PCR test on arrival at Larnaca or Paphos airports and remain in self-isolation until the result is issued, which should be available within three hours.
Tests must be paid for by the passenger.
Under 12s are exempt from the test rules.
