Travel website Culture Trips has announced plans to expand its sales through travel agents over the next year with the introduction of a dedicated team to handle its trade partnerships.

Agents can now book commissionable small group tours, TRIPS by Culture Trip, which combine activities with accommodation.

Bookings must be made over the phone but there’s a dedicated email address for agents queries: [email protected].

The company said that over the next 12 months it will introduce a dedicated business development team for the trade.

TRIPS currently offers 30 small group itineraries in the UK and overseas, including Europe, the US, Central America, North Africa and Asia.

First departures are set to take place at the end of this year, with a focus on 2022.

TRIPS durations range from four to 13 days, with prices starting from £857 per person, and group sizes will be limited to 18 travellers aged 25 plus.

The company’s Geraint Hamer said: “We know that many consumers will look to their trusted travel agent to book which is why we plan to build strong relationships with the trade and grow together. For launch, we have our dedicated Customer Support team — all with a background in trade — on-hand to support agents through the booking process. In return, agents will get a competitive commission and the opportunity to book customers on a group travel adventure built for a post-Covid world.

Millions of people come to Culture Trip every month, so we know what travellers around the world are interested in. Using these insights and our travel expertise, we’ve created TRIPS that take travellers straight to the heart of the action and show every destination in a fresh and meaningful way.”
