AmaWaterways has launched a new monthly award for travel agents who ‘go above and beyond’ in their dealings with clients, business partners or colleagues.

The AMA Award will be delivered and presented to individual agents by their Business Development Manager.

At the end of the year, the winners from every month will be invited to an AMA Awards VIP lunch and one agent ‘who best embodies AmaWaterways’ values’ will receive a free seven-night European cruise for two.

“Central to our business is showing our appreciation and support for the wonderful work our travel partners do all year round, however, when an individual goes the extra mile, we want to be able to shine a spotlight on them and express our gratitude for their passion and hard work,” said Sales Director Andrea Stafford.

“We have so many fantastic agents offering their clients an exceptional level of service, so there will be a huge number of worthy candidates each month.”

An AmaWaterways spokesperson said award winners will be selected by the Ama team, which will pick an individual it believes deserves recognition for an action or actions that month.
