CroisiEurope has hired a new Business Development Manager to oversee the north of England and Scotland.

Janine Sykes, whose travel industry career spans 25 years, will join the French river and ocean cruise line on Tuesday (14 March).

She most recently represented Norwegian Cruise Line on behalf of marketing and sales support firm, 3For Limited

Prior to that, she worked for train operator LNER and Unique Vacations UK, the worldwide representative of Sandals Resorts.

Reporting into UK Sales Director John Fair, Janine will be responsible for building new trade partnerships, managing existing ones and delivering sales strategies.

John said: “Janine’s appointment clearly demonstrates our continued commitment, not only to growing the business, but to investing in the UK and supporting our agent partners in Northern England and Scotland.

“I’m delighted to welcome Janine onboard and am confident that her vast experience, energy and passion for the travel industry will prove invaluable.”

The line recently opened a UK call centre in Skipton, Yorkshire, to enable agents to book flight-inclusive packages for the first time.

“I’m delighted to be joining the CroisiEurope team at such an exciting time, with the launch of the brand new call centre and the ability to offer ATOL-protected fly-cruise packages for the first time,” Janine added.
