Corendon Airlines has added additional capacity for summer 2022, two weeks after announcing its first winter schedule from the UK.

The carrier has added direct flights from Stansted to Antalya, with four flights per week starting in June.

The airline has more than 600,000 seats on sale for summer 2022, offering 49 flights on 18 different routes.

In addition to Stansted, regional flights are available from Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, and Gatwick to Antalya and Dalaman, with flights from Gatwick and Manchester to Bodrum, Crete and Rhodes.

At the end of last month, Corendon Airlines launched its first winter flight schedule, offering flights to Antalya from five UK airports.

Commercial Director Mine Aslan said: “This is our first full summer season from the UK and sales to date are very encouraging.

“Antalya is a fantastic winter destination, popular with couples and golfing groups. We wanted to continue to build on the success of our current regional departures, so we feel this Antalya programme should achieve this.”

He added: “Our expanded summer 2022 programme has been received very well with agents and the public.

“Whilst we have been in business for almost 20 years, the UK is new for us.

“We have spent the last 12 months building our brand amongst the trade and regional press and we are starting to see much higher awareness of Corendon airlines.

“We will be looking to capitalise on this with a much larger programme for summer 2023, which is due to go on sale within the next few weeks.”

One-way tickets start at £39.99.
