Cardiff-based coach tour operator Leisure Time (Wales) has posted a heartfelt message on its website after ceasing trading.

It said that the ‘impact of the pandemic restrictions was too much for the company to bear’.

“We would like to thank all of our wonderful customers, team members and suppliers for their support over nearly three decades,” added the message.

Companies House lists the sole director as Ceri Anne Johnson.

The company was an ABTA member and the association said it would post further details for its customers on its website later today.

In its message, Leisure Time said ‘discussions are ongoing with regard to the future of the Leisuretime brand in south Wales’.

“We are hopeful that our story can continue under new ownership,” it added, saying: “More information will be posted here in the next few days.”
