Trade-only operator Classic Package Holidays has announced the return of one of its most popular promotions.

Place on a Plane was first launched in 2020 by the operator and has since become a firm favourite with agents.

For each Classic Package Holidays’ booking made by an agent, the agent’s name will be put into a prize draw, and every Friday a winner will be drawn at random on the operator’s Facebook Live channel. 

There will be a total of 20 winners and each agent will also be take with them a plus-one of their choice on the three-night five-star all-inclusive trip.

Trade Sales & Marketing Director Si Morris-Green said: “All our agent partners tell us how much they love this competition, so we thought we would bring it back for 2023.  

“We aren’t revealing the details of the destination to which we will be taking our winners later this year, but what we will say, is that they won’t be disappointed. 

“Our winners’ destination has got amazing beaches, a great year-round climate and really high-quality resorts and accommodation. It’s a prize definitely worth winning.”

The promotion launches today, and the first winner will be announced on Friday 3 February at 4pm on Facebook Live.

Meanwhile, Classic Collection has announced plans to bring its Classic Live Lounge to the UK. 

The event, which was the main feature of the recent Classic Awards, attended by more than 170 agent partners in Cyprus in early December, will go on a nationwide UK tour during 2023 which starts in April in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
