Trade-only supplier Classic Package Holidays has introduced more than 1,000 new hotels across 11 new destinations.
The operator has added the Maldives and Thailand to its long-haul programme; Cape Verde to mid-haul; Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy and Montenegro to its short-haul portfolio, as well as city breaks to Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris and Prague.
The expanded programme coincides with the announcement that Classic has appointed Adam Courtney (pictured) as its new Regional Sales Manager for the midlands and the north.
Adam will start on 11 February, representing Classic Collection and Classic Package Holidays. He joins from Balkan Holidays, where he was Business Development Manager for the Midlands, having previously held roles at both Hays Travel and Thomas Cook.
Director of Agency Sales Si Morris-Green said: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Adam as the newest recruit to the agency sales team at Classic Collection Holidays. He’s tasked with heading up Classic’s presence in the midlands and the north, a job to which he’ll bring a huge amount of experience, know-how and talent.”
Speaking about the expanded programme, Si said: “We are constantly reviewing our product via feedback from our agent partners and we’re delighted to be introducing additional destinations during Peaks.
“High demand from our trade partners for the Indian Ocean has seen us bring our brand of great value holidays to more than 30 island resorts in the Maldives. Cape Verde and Thailand are other attractive propositions for agents as not many business-to-business operators currently feature them.
“Croatia, Italy and Montenegro have started to sell strongly immediately from launch and our ability to book any flight from any airport is a proposition which our trade partners find compelling when selling city breaks.”
Si added: “Turkey has been a major player for us in peaks as we continue to reap the benefits of our partnership with SunExpress, the joint airline venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. It’s our flexibility on flights, luggage and transfers, in addition to hugely competitive pricing, that keep agents coming back.
“We’re confident that our new destinations will be warmly welcomed as new options and popular additions to our existing portfolio. Their timely introductions ties in perfectly with our strategy of growing Classic Package Holidays into the market-leading business to business only proposition.”
Seven nights at the Bandos Maldives (pictured) starts at £1,546 per person, while seven nights at Front Village, Phuket in Thailand starts from £968pp. A week to Zaton Holiday Resort, Croatia starts from £237pp and a three-night city break to Prague, at Hotel Ibis Mala Strana Praha, starts from £139pp.
