Classic Collection is increasing its support for homeworkers, saying it’ ‘recognises the value of a sector which has seen notable growth over the last two years’.

Between now and September the operator will be hosting 400 agent homeworkers across 21 venues at brunches in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, England and the Channel Islands.

In 2023 there will be dedicated fam trips, including a VIP trip, for more than 100 individual homeworkers.

Strategic Account Manager Jorge Quibell said: “Classic was quick to recognise the growth of homeworking during the pandemic and appointed a dedicated agency sales resource for this valuable sector in early 2021.”

The brunches will include business updates from Classic Collection, Classic Package and key hotel partners, as well as a marketing workshop from which agents can take away tips on promotion, social media, branding, and marketing assets.

Feedback from homeworkers has seen Classic recently adopt more homeworker-friendly opening hours, and the operator has plans to introduce an online bookable platform for agents before the end of the year.
