Cincy Region CEO Julie Kirkpatrick and Regional Sales Director Gina Christ-Kohler will arrive in the UK next week on BA’s first direct flight from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport.

They will be meeting with tour operators and travel agents to raise awareness of the region, which will be more accessible following the launch of BA’s flight, the only service between the UK and Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

The region, which is home to the biggest Oktoberfest outside Munich, is expecting a boost in UK visitors as a result.

Julie and Gina will be hosting an event for travel agents on 7 June, with prizes to be won and a cocktail making challenge.

They will also be giving a tour operators’ dinner on 8 June.

Their trip to the UK follows the launch of a new partnership between Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky in the UK market in January.
