LGBTQ operator Chillimix will officially be dissolved next week.

According to Companies House, Chillimix, which was launched in 2019, will be dissolved on 17 October 2023.

When a company is dissolved, it is closed down and removed from the official register at Companies House and can no longer trade.

In the case of Chillimix, the operator has not been active for several months and its membership of Protected Trust Services was terminated in January 2023.

A first Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off was made on 1 August 2023.

Chillimix has not posted accounts after 31 August 2021.

Its sole director is David McDonald, who also ran a series of travel agencies in the north-west.

Two agencies were taken over last year by Hays Travel North West, while PTS took over three others and the company’s in-house operator, Odisea.

His agency business WTL Travel Services called in the liquidators at the end of February and it was revealed it had debts of more than £277,000, including more than £127,000 owed to staff.
