Carnival Cruise Line has confirmed it has banned a passenger for life after she climbed over the balcony railings on one of its ships.

Cruise Radio originally reported the incident happened during the 30 December sailing on the line’s newest ship, Carnival Jubilee.

Footage filmed by another passenger emerged on TikTok of a woman climbing out of her balcony cabin. She then stood on a roof above the public areas talking to someone over another balcony and then sitting on the railings before going back into her cabin.

The ship, which is sailing Caribbean cruises from Galveston, Texas, had been in motion the whole time.

Carnival Cruise Line confirmed the passenger and her companions had been identified.

A statement read: “Our security team on Carnival Jubilee identified the guests involved in this matter, and those guests will no longer be sailing on Carnival ships. The safety of everyone on board is our priority and we do not tolerate this behaviour. “
