The Civil Aviation Authority has announced that Travel Inspired and Florida Direct have ceased trading as ATOL holders.
Travel Inspired, based in Crieff, traded under the names Conor Campbell Travel, Holiday Hunter UK, KS Travel Services and Race Weekend Breaks.
Florida Direct, based in Warrington, also traded under the name USA Direct.
Both companies operated under a franchise arrangement with Protected Trust Services (PTS).
PTS told Travel Gossip last month that it had terminated the membership of Travel Inspired and it was investigating claims that it had taken money for trips that weren’t booked.
