Ryanair has announced it will offer Newcastle to Barcelona flights for this summer, starting later this month.

Dara Brady, the budget carrier’s Director of Marketing and Digital, confirmed the service will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, from 30 March.

He said the service would provide customers with ‘more choice and value’, before highlighting how passengers can spread the cost of their holiday.

Passengers can pay half the fare now and the remainder up to 40 days prior to departure when they book the airline’s Family Plus bundle, he said.

“We look forward to welcoming customers onboard our flights to and from Barcelona this summer as Ryanair continues to deliver more traffic, connectivity, and lower fares than any other airline for the UK,” added Dara.
