A British tourist has received emergency treatment for a head injury he received during his stag party in Majorca.

The 45-year-old hit his head on rocks after diving into the sea in front of the Roxy Beach bar on Oratori Beach in Portals Nous, according to the Majorca Daily Bulletin.

He was wearing a Ferrari racing suit when the accident happened at 3.20pm on Sunday.

The man, who has not been named, apparently jumped into an area of the sea where the water is only one metre deep.

He was treated for multiple head wounds and neck pain.

He was transferred by boat to Puerto Portals, where he was taken by ambulance to a clinic for emergency treatment.
