British Airways will resume flights to Shanghai on 23 April and to Beijing on 3 June.

The airline suspended services to both cities in 2020 due to COVID.

From 23 April it will offer a daily service between London Heathrow and Shanghai Pudong airport. From 3 June it will operate four flights a week between Heathrow and Beijing Daxing airport.

In a statement, BA said it has been ‘working hard to reintroduce these important routes to enable customers to reunite with family and friends’.

Virgin Atlantic announced on Thursday morning that it will also relaunch a daily service to Shanghai, starting on 1 May.
