Marella Cruises has eased its COVID rules and is no longer requiring passengers to have a booster vaccination in order to sail.

The cruise line updated its COVID rules this week.

Marella shared the following statement with Travel Gossip: “If you’re sailing with us before 30 April 2023 the vaccination requirements for our cruises are: everyone aged 12 and over must be fully vaccinated.

“This means completing all the required doses of your complete vaccine course at least 14 days before departure, or 28 days after Johnson & Johnson.

“There is no longer a need for the booster vaccination. Children aged 11 and under do not need to be vaccinated to sail with us.”

A spokesperson confirmed the policy applies fleet-wide to all cruise itineraries.

Marella plans to issue another update around 30 April for its summer policy.
