Blue Bay Travel has launched an accommodation-only service that will enable travel agents to put together their own packages.
The long-haul specialist said Blue Bay Hotels will help it maximise sales through agents, which it sees as a key area of growth.
Blue Bay already sells packages to a selection of travel agents through an exclusive partnership with The Midcounties Co-op Travel.
It said its accommodation-only product will be available to any agents who want to use their own ATOLs to sell packages, or those who want to sell just accommodation.
Chief Executive Alistair Rowland (above) said: “We’re delighted to launch Blue Bay Hotels, which will allow any travel agent with their own ATOL to sell the premium accommodation element of the market leading packages that we secure.”
Agents need to create an account to access Blue Bay Hotels booking system. “Our trade-friendly website provides agents with live visibility of availability for all dates,” added Mr Rowland.
“We are not a bed-bank, so all of our products are directly contracted and set at a price which means agents can package them under ATOL and match the value we offer our direct clients. All agents are welcome and there’s no credit control required.”
Agents are invited to join the new Blue Bay Hotels Agent Offers Facebook group.
Blue Bay Travel Business Development Manager Tasha Smith (pictured) said: “Agents working with Blue Bay Hotels can benefit from 10% commission on all elements, a low deposit of just £50 invoiced after booking, balance payments required just one month before departure and all funds transferred directly to hotels, so there’s no pipeline risk and no over-bookings.
“Every offer is market leading and Blue Bay’s ‘Alfred’ CMS system means agents can see every price for every date on one screen.”
