British Airways has confirmed it will relaunch flights between London and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia this year.
A four-times-weekly service from Heathrow will resume on 4 November following a five-year gap, caused by the pandemic.
The year-round flights will be operated by Boeing 787 aircraft on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On other days of the week BA offers flights with connections via Doha on Qatar Airways.
BA already flies between Heathrow and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabian flag carrier SAUDI also operates flights to Jeddah from Heathrow, Gatwick and Birmingham.
Flights to Jeddah give direct access to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea resorts, which are growing in popularity.
