British Airways will launch daily flights to Abu Dhabi next year, following a four-year hiatus.

The route will operate year-round from Heathrow on 20 April 2024, on a Boeing 787-9.

Flight BA73 will depart Heathrow at 22:25, arriving into Abu Dhabi at 08:30 the following morning (09:30 in winter 2024). Flight BA72 will depart Abu Dhabi at 10:10 (11:10 in winter 2024), arriving Heathrow at 15:20.

BA Director of Network and Alliances Neil Chernoff said: “Abu Dhabi is a unique destination that is making a very welcome return to our network. With a blend of beach, city and desert, it has everything our customers are looking for in a Middle Eastern trip, and we look forward to welcoming them back on board as we grow our footprint in the UAE.”

Tickets are now on sale, with launch fares from £449 in World Traveller and £1,999 in Club World for bookings made before 12 November 2023.
