British Airways has added the islands of Sao Miguel and Terceira in the Azores to its Heathrow short-haul network from next summer.
Flights will operate once a week, with Sao Miguel operating on Saturdays from 2 July until 3 September and Terceira on Sundays from 10 July until 28 August 2022.
Terceira is home to a UNESCO World Heritage site and Sao Miguel, home to the Lake of Seven Cities, has been dubbed one of the seven natural wonders of Portugal.
Flights start from £79.
