British Airways has added extra flights out of Heathrow to its existing summer Med schedule for June and July.

The 26 additional weekly frequencies include Greece, the Canary Islands and Turkey, with seats on sale from today.

One extra flight per week has been added to BA’s existing summer services to Lanzarote, Heraklion, Paphos; two extra to Bodrum, Kefalonia, Kos, Kalamata, Preveza, Rhodes (pictured) and Tenerife, with three extra per week to Corfu, Chania and Thessaloniki.

BA Director of Networks and Alliances Neil Chernoff promised the airline would be ‘incredibly flexible’ if passengers needed to change their bookings.
