Agents will be able to sell Audley Travel holidays that include ocean cruises when the operator’s programme goes on sale later this year.
Audley Travel already offers tailormade packages that include river and expedition cruises, and has now added 11 ocean cruise operators including Azamara, Celebrity Cruises, Paul Gauguin and Silversea Cruises.
Global Cruise Manager Sean Atton said: “Travelling with Audley is about revealing the best of a destination and that often means experiencing it by land and by sea. Our experts are experienced in creating meaningful trips which include a cruising element so the careful expansion of our rich cruise offering to partner with ocean cruise operators is a natural progression as we look to enhance our overall proposition for clients.”
Sample itineraries include a 24-day tailormade ‘Japan by Land and Sea’ including 14 nights on an Azamara ship sailing between Tokyo and Kobe, three nights each in Tokyo and Kyoto, train travel to Hakone and a two-night stay, starting at £12,000 per person, including flights, transfers and pre-cruise excursions.
Other options include a 27-day Australia and New Zealand tour, including 12 nights sailing with Silversea; and a 19-day ‘Highlights of Southeast Asia’ tour that includes 12 nights on a Celebrity Cruises ship.
