River cruise and touring operator APT & Travelmarvel has appointed Koral Lipton as its new Business Development Manager (BDM) for the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland territories.

Koral, who is based in Glasgow, begins her new role on 16 December 2022.

She has been Key Account Manager for Gold Medal and Travel 2 for over six years, and before that was a Travel 2 travel consultant for eight years.

She will be responsible for positioning the operator’s river cruises, Croatian yachting programme, expedition cruises, and tours as the products of choice for agents in her regions.

Day-to-day she will build relationships with key trade partners, identify new business opportunities, manage third-party retail accounts, and deliver quality and engaging training for local agents.

Head of Sales and Business Development Brad Bennetts said: “With new ships on the Mekong and expansions into new destinations planned for 2023, Koral will have lots of exciting product developments to talk to the industry about, and we can’t wait for her to get started.”
