River cruise and touring specialist APT and Travelmarvel says it is pushing ahead with its ‘aggressive’ growth plan by appointing a new National Sales Manager.
Brad Bennetts, head of sales and business development, said the newly created position was the latest step for the sister brands to work closer with trade partners after being united 14 months ago. The recruitment process is now underway.
“From day one we have said further investment and support for the trade is coming and we are delighted to demonstrate this commitment with the addition of this new role,” said Bennetts. “Working alongside myself, the new hire will be responsible for our key partners, exploring new sales opportunities, driving sales initiatives, and elevating our sales for 2024 and beyond.”
In addition, APT will add a further five telephone-based agents to its Trade Support and Customer Service (CSC) team to help with agent enquiries, documentation and aftersales support. The operator said 75% of its business currently comes via the trade.
