The Scenic Group, which includes Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises, has made five new appointments to its UK trade sales team.
Andrea Stafford has been appointed as Director of Trade Sales UK for the Scenic Group, overseeing the newly restructured trade-dedicated team of 10.
She starts her new role on 4 April, reporting to Scenic Group’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Anna Wolfsteiner.
Andrea worked as Regional Sales Manager for First Choice Holidays in the late 90s, before joining Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, Thomas Cook and most recently MSC Cruises where she was Head of Retail and was responsible for business development and sales growth within consortium, retail and homeworking trade partners.
Wendi Hardy has been promoted to the newly created role of National Sales Key Account Manager with immediate effect and the regional sales team has been bolstered by the recent addition of Jonathan Davies as Sales Manager North and a soon to be announced new sales manager for the central region.
In addition, the agency sales support and trade marketing team have both doubled in size with two new appointments.

Following Andrea’s decision to leave MSC Cruises, the cruise operator has restructured its sales team with four internal promotions.
Alyshia Jay Bartlett will take charge of the regional sales managers in the position of Head of Retail, Tour Operators and Homeworkers, reporting to Steve Williams, Director of Sales.
Colin Rillie will be promoted to Senior National Account Manager, Carrie Jordan Dodd will take up the role of National Account Manager South, assuming responsibility for some of the large cruise specialist accounts and Karen Spencer will take on the new role of Senior Regional Sales Manager.
MSC Cruises is looking externally to recruit a Regional Sales Manager South West and Wales.
