Air Transat will resume flights from Gatwick to Montreal next May in addition to launching a new service to Quebec City.
The Montreal service will go daily between June and September with the Quebec route operating weekly Thursday departures.
The airline will also increase its schedule between Gatwick and Toronto from three weekly flights to a daily service, also from next May.
Meanwhile, flights from Glasgow to Toronto will restart on 16 December. At the height of summer, four weekly flights will operate from both Glasgow and Manchester, the carrier said.
Air Transat Commercial Director of UK, Ireland and GSA Markets, Sonia Kurek, said: “There is a pent-up demand for travel to Canada as one of the world’s foremost destinations, and Air Transat is thrilled to be the first airline to operate a direct flight between London Gatwick and Quebec City, thus allowing British travellers to discover this must-see destination.”
