Love was in the air during a Not Just Travel ski fam trip when consultant Emily Maycock accepted her partner’s proposal at the top of a mountain.

The couple were on the slopes in Aspen as part of a group trip with 18 other NJT consultants and staff members.

Long-term partner Martin Good proposed 3,600 metres above sea level, presenting Emily with a ring specially designed in the shape of a mountain.

He said: “As soon as Emily told me that we were going on an incredible trip to Aspen I decided there and then that I was going to propose to her on top of a mountain.

“After a group photo, I decided that was the right time. I shuffled along on my snowboard, got down on one knee, popped the question and Emily burst into tears and said ‘yes’.”

Emily, from Matlock, Derbyshire, said: “Martin couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. Aspen will always remain in our hearts as a very special place. We plan to return with our son and friends and family.”

Not Just Travel Co-Founder Paul Harrison said: “Aspen is a romantic resort and Martin and Emily certainly proved it. We are thrilled for the couple.”
