Aer Lingus has launched its biggest ever UK summer schedule with 2.25 million seats on sale to 17 cities in North America.

Its transatlantic flights operate from 13 UK airports via Dublin, where passengers can pre-clear US immigration.

From its Manchester hub alone, the airline is offering 270,000 seats to New York and Orlando, via the Republic of Ireland.

Capacity from Manchester to New York is up 72% year on year due to an aircraft switch from an A321LR to a larger A330, offering at least 133 more seats per flight.

Next summer, Aer Lingus will bring back its popular Dublin to Hartford service, in addition to launching new flights from Dublin to Cleveland, Ohio, the home of the world-famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The Irish airline also offers winter flights to Barbados, direct from Manchester, until spring 2023.
