The Advantage Travel Partnership has announced the President and CEO of Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) will be the final keynote speaker for its forthcoming conference.

Lauri Reishus will present a session called ‘The Pace of Change’ at the conference, later this month, where she will examine key global geopolitical and economic risks facing the industry.

ARC is a leading provider of data insights, flexible distribution services and innovative financial solutions for the global air travel industry. Its Area Settlement Plan (ASP) data platform, the equivalent to the UK’s BSP system, facilitates settlement of air ticket transactions between airlines and US-based travel agencies.

Lauri’s presentation will also detail steps ARC is taking to advance airline distribution with their agency partners.

Advantage CEO Julia Lo Bue-Said said: “We’re very pleased to announce Lauri Reishus will be joining us at the Advantage conference next month.

“This year we are set to witness a remarkable milestone in political history when more than half of the world’s population across more than 40 countries will go to the polls. Lauri will bring an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to be able to highlight what changes could mean for the aviation industry and wider ecosystem given the significance of the US relationship with the UK and vice versa.”

Keynote speakers already announced include Modaxo Senior Vice President Simon Ferguson, adventurer Jamie McDonald, social entrepreneur and broadcaster Natalie Campbell and The Sun  Head of Travel Lisa Minot.

The conference takes place from 15-18 May at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort and Spa in Mexico.
