Agents can now book the new river ships in A-ROSA’s fleet, which will start sailing next year.

The ships, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA will sail various itineraries covering the Northern Rhine, the Southern Rhine and the Moselle, on seven-night cruises between April and October 2024.

After that, shorter five- and four-night options will operate.

The river cruise line is offering introductory prices across 2024 for bookings made this October.

Prices start from £899 per person for a five-night cruise and £1,049pp for a seven-night cruise on a Premium All-Inclusive basis, including flights.

 A-ROSA ALEA will start the season on 5 April 2024, with seven-night Southern Rhine Experience itineraries offering a roundtrip from Cologne calling at Rudesheim, Speyer, Breisach, Basel, Strasbourg, Mainz and along the famous Loreley passage via Koblenz.

A-ROSA CLEA’s first focus will be on the tulip season, sailing from 7 April on seven-night Rhine Experience North itineraries up to the Netherlands with the chance to join an optional excursion to Keukenhof Garden’s during the annual springtime tulip flower festival. Departing from Cologne, the ship will visit Willemstad, Ghent, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Hoorn and Nijmegen.

From early May, both ships will alternate between seven-night itineraries on either the Moselle, Southern Rhine or Northern Rhine, depending on the departure date. From October onwards they will move to shorter five- and four-night cruises before moving onto Christmas Markets and festive options.

At 110 metres, the two ships are shorter than the other A-ROSA ships on the Rhine, allowing them to sail directly into the heart of some ports and offer space for 138 guests on A-ROSA ALEA and 140 on A-ROSA CLEA.
