Plus, this year Windstar Cruises is excited to announce that we’re expanding our fleet with not one, but TWO new all-suite Star Class ships. Coming Dec. 2025, Star Seeker will be our first-ever Star Class new build, followed by Star Explorer in Dec. 2026. Serving 224 guests, each ship will feature 112 suites with full private verandas and infinity windows. They’ll also come with two new Owner’s suites with wrap-around balconies, perfect for evening cocktails or a private dinner. Each ship will include a Watersports platform, a cozy Yacht Club café and lounge, and a two-story spa and fitness facility, among other amenities. Plus, both ships will have ice-strengthened hulls, unlocking access to new destinations.
We don’t have jam-packed onboard programmes filled with bingo and black jack tournaments. Instead, your guests can visit local markets with our Chef. Drop by the Open Bridge for an impromptu lesson in chart reading. Share bottles of wine and stories with the couple sitting next to them in Candles. Our Star Breeze is based permanently in French Polynesia, where Windstar has been sailing for over 37 years – making us the largest and longest-serving cruise line in the Tahitian islands. Not only that, but come 2027, we will bring Wind Star back as well making us the only line with 2 ships permanently sailing there. Meanwhile, our Star Legend sails year-round in Europe – with our unique Winter Mediterranean programme making us one of the only cruise lines to offer the beautiful cities in the region during less hot and less crowded times. Meanwhile the Star Pride travels the world – from Northern Europe, the Baltic and Iceland, to Canada & New England, to the Caribbean, Costa Rica and South America. In our Wind Class fleet, small ports are our specialty be it in the Mediterranean & Greek Islands or the Caribbean and Costa Rica – including regular Panama Canal transits. Finally, the Star Seeker will start cruising to Alaska and Japan when it joins the fleet in 2026.
