Grand Canal – View from a Vaporetto
22 November @ 2:00 pm - 2:30 pmFree
About the tour
Join Andrea on this unique experience where he will take a “vaporetto”, the original water bus of Venice, and travel along the canal that cuts the city in two parts. He will be live-streaming from the water – telling you the stories and history of the beautiful palaces that line this “main street” of the city. This is where the most important noble families of Venice lived.
On this tour he will pass under the two oldest bridges over the Grand Canal – Accademia and Rialto – and discover also curious stories such as the cursed Ca’ Dario, the reference to the knight Templars on the façade of Ca’ Vendramin Calergi and even a palace that has the skeleton of a real dinosaur inside!
Come enjoy this tour with Andrea, sit back and soak up the beauty of Venice from the water!
