The Tourism Society’s Annual Symposium
23 & 24 September 2019
DISRUPTION and The Tourism Challenge
With momentous and ever-changing social and political challenges, how can we best survive and thrive in the next decade?
In Blackpool, this September, tourism professionals will have an unprecedented chance to debate, question, network and hear from a wide range of speakers – the people who are most qualified to share their experiences of tackling disruptive challenges.
With Adrian Mills, General Manager of BBC North as keynote speaker, the Tourism Society is gathering speakers and panelists to help and advise us all on the most troubling tourism issues: sustainability, the North/South divide, “shapeshifters”, big data and storytelling.
Monday 23 September offers a variety of field studies and an evening networking reception.
Tuesday 24 September is the Tourism Society’s action-packed conference held in Blackpool’s famous Winter Gardens.
Earlybird prices for the two-day symposium and evening reception 23 & 24 September(ends May 31).
Tourism Society members £119
Student members £69
